New houses created in Abilene SoDA District

The SoDA District is growing from a place to work and participate in to a place to phone residence.

The new Quarters on Pecan Avenue improvement presents 5 two-tale residences built where by a dilapidated warehouse with a rusty, corrugated roof once stood on the southwest corner of Pecan and South Second streets.

The residences, some with pops of vibrant coloration on the exterior, are a limited wander to the Taylor County Courthouse, offices and more recent bars and function facilities that have opened in renovated structures in current several years.

“We seriously truly feel like we are producing something that can be one of a kind and increase to what’s there,” claimed developer Lynn Beal.

Sweet downtown residence

All five of the 1,840-sq.-foot properties have the similar open-notion style and design for the initial ground and residing quarters upstairs.
